Anyone ready to do the internal work of therapy will be a great fit for me, though I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ community. I have experience working with the transgender community in particular and individuals with a variety of gender identities. In fact, I have worked with several transgender teenagers and enjoy helping young adults on their path to self discovery and self acceptance. Whether you are gender fluid, non-binary, bigender or don’t place any label on yourself at all-you are welcome here. My office is a safe and affirming space for people from all walks of life to find healing and personal growth. We will create a treatment plan that will help you meet your own goals.
I have knowledge of several evidence based therapy techniques and frequently use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As an EMDR therapist, I’ve seen tremendous healing in my clients over the past two years. I am in the certification process for EMDR and have used these techniques for clients who have experienced significant stress, anxiety or have post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I see myself as a partner on your healing journey and will individualize our work together to help you reach your goals.
