Welcome to Aspire Counseling!
What would it look like to feel fully connected to your life and those around you?
How would clarity around your values & confidence in your decisions change things for you?
Do you have the skills and support you need to make that happen?
Imagine feeling free to move forward toward your life goals. You feel supported, empowered & confident that you can face whatever may come up next in your life. You’re optimistic and excited to look forward toward the future, and you feel connected to key people in your life. In this vision, you have a clear sense of purpose and a set of values to guide important decisions in your life. This is the power of quality mental health care.
The compassionate, skilled therapists at Aspire Counseling help you reach your goals by first getting to know you as an individual. Your counselor will provide you support to heal from past hurts, empower you to develop strong habits that promote mental wellness & give you the right set of tools to confidently move forward in your life.
Healing begins when you look past hurts, current obstacles and future worries directly in the eye and can confidently say, “I’ve got this.”
Counseling in Columbia, MO that Works
At Aspire Counseling, we believe in offering treatment that works. Our therapists welcome you into our comfortable, counseling office and get to know you as an individual. The therapeutic relationship you form with your therapist is one of equals where you work together to help you get the most from your counseling experience. You and your therapist will consider three important factors when creating your treatment plan: the best available research, the clinical expertise of the therapist and most importantly YOUR values, priorities and wishes as the client. When all three of these things are present, we call this evidence based treatment. Our therapists are all trained in at least two types of treatment that are well supported by research.
Whether you’re haunted by traumatic memories, lost in grief, or frozen by fear and anxiety, we have an expert therapist who can help. Counseling can help you with everything from trauma to depression, beginning college to test anxiety, divorce to gender transitions, depression to grief. You can get unstuck. Through counseling, you can begin to find find yourself and look at the world around you in a new way.
