You can also bring your furry friend on campus, not only is the campus beautiful, but often others bring their pets, and, what college student doesn’t miss their own furry friend while they’re away in school, so your dog is bound to get tons of pets!

Columbia is a very pet friendly place! And even here at Aspire Counseling, practically everyone owns, or loves pets! We love seeing pets, so if you want to share a photo, we would love that!

Not only do we love pets, but we also love counseling. If you’re a college student missing your furry friend, we understand, and can help! Transition is hard, and stressful, let along dealing with the grief and loss of a companion that is suddenly not by your side. We work with college students and adults of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, worry, trauma, and so much more. So, we encourage you to reach out! Our building is also pet friendly, so if need be, bring your furry friend along with you for a therapy session! If you and your furry friend feel more comfortable at home, that’s ok too! We also offer online therapy and can see anyone in the state of Missouri.
