Welcome to the Aspire Counseling Office!
Our office is located at 302 Campus view Dr directly behind the Grand Cru restaurant. If you are coming from downtown or the University of Missouri campus, you will take Providence all the way South until you see Grand Cru on your left. You’ll then turn left onto a little side road called Carter Ln. Then take the second Right onto Campus View Dr. We are in the Seven Oaks building across the street from Campus View Apartments and behind the Grand Cru restaurant. Aspire Counseling is located on the upper floor in Suite 202. Please feel free to park in any of the Visitor parking spaces right outside the building.
If You Arrive Early
If you arrive early, please feel free to use the restroom down the hall or enjoy some peace in quiet in our waiting area. We have a hospitality table filled with both warm and cold drinks and you’ll often find small snack items such as granola bars as well. In addition, feel free to use the adult coloring pages or read the magazines and books we have in the reception area. There are even some small toys for children or a sand mandala if you want to relax through meditation. Our goal is for the time you wait for your therapist to begin your appointment to feel like a time of peaceful transition from the “real world” into your therapy session.
Self Care While You Wait
At some point in your mental health treatment, your therapist will probably talk to you about self care. Learning to implement self care into your daily routine is critical for your mental health. We want to encourage you to improve your self care routine. Therefore, we have added small ways that you can engage in self care while you wait for your therapy appointment to begin. We’ve even had clients choose to come early or stay for awhile after their appointment to relax in our comfortable space.
While in our office, please enjoy a hot or cold beverage or small snack. We have some pamphlets on mental health issues you may choose to read or a variety of books that can teach you about common mental health issues. On the other hand, you may choose to read a Mindful or Psychology Today magazine. Many of our clients enjoy adult coloring books, our zen gardens or the sand mandala while they wait.
A Safe & Comfortable Counseling Office
Our hope is that moment you walk into your office you will feel at peace. We work hard to create a peaceful environment that feels distinctly different than the “real world.” You’ll notice small touches such as nature pictures, live plants, a small waterfall and essential oils. If you think of anything that would make you even more comfortable in our office, please let us know. We are always looking for ways to make our space even more inviting and peaceful.
