Holly White has her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri. Holly has a passion for helping people and believes everybody can get through life’s obstacles and that the first step to do that is to reach out to someone who can help. Holly looks forward to helping you find that person who will support and guide you in your time of need. She wants you to know that you don’t have to go through this alone. Help is available.


Shannon Braida

Client Care Coordinator

Shannon Braida will graduate with her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri in August! In the meantime, she is serving as the Client Care Coordinator at Aspire Counseling. She does everything from helping us keep up with social media to keeping the coffee/hot chocolate/tea area nice and neat.

Ben Shartman PLPC


Ben Shartman graduated with his Counseling Degree from Columbia College in December 2017 and is now under the supervision of Ronda Reitz, Ph.D as a provisionally licensed counselor. Ben is a caring, easy to talk to therapist who wants to help you travel the path from suffering to healing. He specializes in working with people who have experienced loss whether that’s in the form of death, divorce, friendships, a job or a dream.

Stephenie is a nonjudgmental therapist with a sense of humor. She considers you the expert on your own life and partners with clients to create a plan to achieve the life you want.  Stephenie works with a variety of people, but has a special interest including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and those in the LGBT communities.

Meet Joni Perry, MS, PLPC


Joni Perry is a passionate therapist who loves watching people get better. She most commonly uses two types of therapy that research has shown are very effective: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement De-sensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Jessica brings a positive energy into sessions and is passionate about helping people find healing when things seem overwhelming. Jessica also sees individuals who feel overwhelmed, young adults struggling to adjust to college or individuals who simply want to cope better with stress.
